Comments/Problems:

When it came to configuring the network, there was no menu option present to 
do this. There was a PPP configuration option, but nothing for a LAN.
When I dropped to a console I could see that the module (via_rhine) was loaded 
and the interface was there but unconfigured. I just manually ran dhclient to 
configure it then carried on with the installation as normal.

That is a known problem documented on [1]. It should be solved when new
images become available.
As your installation was otherwise successful, I'm closing your report.
