What do you mean exactly with "after some time"? Some time during the boot 
or after you have finished the "keyboard configuration" step of the 
installation?
The only solution we have seen for the first situation is to change the 
BIOS setting for something like "legacy (USB) keyboard support". Note: we 
have had one report where this would make the built-in keyboard unusable 
although an external keyboard would still work OK.
