Bug#324446: Failed while installing LILO because /boot was already mounted outside of the /target

What installation method did you use? Boot from existing linux partition 
(hd-media)? That is the only method I can think of where a /boot could be 
mounted.
In that case reuse of existing partitions is not really supported.
