After completing installation of Debian using the 14 CD Set recently released for Sarge (i.e., Official Release 3.1 r0a) my /etc/apt/sources.list file (text enclosed below) refers to the distribution as unstable rather than stable. So far there is no evidence of ill effects. However, I’m suspecting this may become problematic when the time comes for mixing in new sources. Is this outcome as intended? If so why? If not what is the appropriate corrective action?
