Bug#316487: debian-installer-manual: Missing copyright credit: Karsten M. Self for section C.4

Quoting Joey Hess (joeyh@debian.org):

I apologise for misreading your intent, and will try not to chew up your
time. (It's possible I am still misreading your intent, try as I may.)
And I appreciate your time and trouble.

My comments were based in part on your speaking of "minor contributor[s]
or web page[s] read by a contributor", as if in this case the existence
of a major contribution or of direct copying were in doubt. They really
aren't. Direct copying, in particular, is obvious.

Just a point: He should not be obliged to "ask": He's pointed out
clear violation of his licence terms, which require that derivatives
include (along with an author credit) specified brief disclaimers of
warranty and of damages. It's understandable that Debian came to
violate those terms until now through accident. (These things happen.)
But it's less easy to understand why Debian should not act without delay
to either come into compliance, or _politely_ ask Karsten for an
exception, or rewrite Guide section C.4 so it is no longer derivative of
Karsten's work.

I will mention, in hopes of being helpful, that the Guide does include a
warranty and damages disclaimer similar to the one Karsten's terms of use
require. Perhaps he will agree that those meet that part of his
requirement ("an exception", as above), if you ask him.
