Custom module udeb in installer

 I'm trying to create a modified netinst CD for some i386 hardware that
needs the bcm5700 and qla2x00 modules. I understand that I have to create
udebs of those and add them to the pool in the CD, recreate Packages/Release
files and create the images.

 What I don't know is how to create the udebs (I found directions for using
kernel-wedge to create udebs from in-kernel modules only). How could I do
that, or where can I find information on how to do it?
