Error trying to install Debian

Hello,

I am trying to install Debian 3.0 r5 for a 166 Mhz
intel Pentium.

I start the installation with the CD "Debian GNU/Linux
3.0r5 "Woody" - Official i386 Binary-1 CD".

I always get the following message:

boot:
Loading /install.......
Loading idepci.bin.............
 ready.
Uncompressing Linux........

invalid compressed format (err=2)

-- system halted

Any suggestion?
