Comments/Problems:
Input on installer screen was shifted right 1 character. This problem
did not exist when booting with the 2.4.27 kernel and initrd, but the
2.4.27 could not initialize my Cabletron RoamAbout Wireless PCMCIA card
while 2.6.8 did. The install boot loader step failed as it assumed I
was using quik, therefore the reboot failed the first time as it
completed before I had the opportunity to copy the boot files to my
MacOS partition. This was complicated by the fact that the HFS file
system driver appeared to be missing from the installer. Solved by
mounting a CF card with a FAT file system.
