Bug#310317: Error in previous bug report
It appears that I actually can resize the partitions from within the
installer. It appeared to call "ntfsresize" automatically.
This actually makes me a bit nervous --- I'd like a bit more warning
about what's going to happen. It was not clear to me at which point the
resizing actually occurred and I did not see any messages saying
"resizing NTFS partition", or anything like that.
Anyway, I'm now configuring my newly-installed Debian system.
It would have been nice if the installer had detected that I was on a
Thinkpad and had suggested the thinkpad tools. It would have been nice
if it had detected the wireless hardware and installed the appropriate
tools as well, or offered to do so.
