Problems configuring an LVM system

Dear friends,
I have tried the 20050518 snapshot of sarge installer.

The system I am trying to install has three SCSI hard disks which are recognized by the installer.

What I am trying to achieve (and already have on other systems) is to use one physical partition (let's say a 100MB /dev/sda1) for the root filesystem, another physical partition for the swap space (let's say a 1GB /dev/sdb1) while I would like to place all the remaining space of /dev/sda and /dev/sdb and all of the physical /dev/sdc into a new volume group.

I therefore partitioned the disks as follows:

/dev/sda1 100MB ReiserFS mounted as /
/dev/sda2 18.5GB ReiserFS not mounted

/dev/sdb1 1GB swap
/dev/sdb2 8GB ReiserFS not mounted

/dev/sdc1 18.6GB ReiserFS not mounted.

Saved the partition.

When I get to the build LVM menus (going from memory since I am away from the machine) when I try creating the VG it gives an error saying there are no phisical partitions to use.

I also tried doing the same but with the space I wanted to allocate to the VG labeled as FREE SPACE.

Always get the same error.

Any help ?

Thank you,
Bob Alexander

PS The installer says quite a few modules are still not loaded and would be later on ...
