Bug#306081: tasksel: Please enhance English in tasks descriptions
Package: tasksel
Version: 2.24
Severity: normal
>From Clytie Siddall, the Vietnamese translator of D-I:
> #. Description
> #: ../po/debian-tasks.desc:473
> msgid "This task selects a packages useful for a general purpose web
> server system."
(either "a package" or "packages")
and some strange sentence structure. For example:
2.
> This task makes the desktop be localised in (language)
should be: "This task localises the desktop in (language)".
3. Another typo:
> "This task installs programs, data files, and documentation that makes
> it
("that make it", since we have plural subject nouns)
4. Must be a missed word:
> #. Description
> #: ../po/debian-tasks.desc:418
> msgid "This task installs packages that make it easier for Thai to use
> Debian."
(Thai speakers? Thai-speaking people?)
He's got a few alterations to do, and then we'll send in most, if not
all of Level 2. :)
