Comments/Problems:
udev did not load, suggested a reboot
install was GREAT! if you need any further information, please do not hesitate to ask. I will also be glad to test a different version of the installer if desired, this computer is my "play" computer and so far this week (mon, tue, wed) I have installed four different OSes : KNOPPIX3.4(debian),SuSe,MORPHIX(debian),KNOPPIX3.7(debian) and now actuall DEBIAN! The last time I tried to install debian, over a year ago, I had dificulty with the installer, this one is GREAT - also I have learned a little about linux since last year ....

Thanks!
Carl

udev is pulled in by Gnome. No idea how one is supposed to set it up.
