Comments/Problems:

An overview of the installation:

* choose a language screen
first line is (???? ??? ????? ????? (????? ?????
is this supposed to contain anything meaningful? The cyrillic and
chinese text is displayed correctly further down the list

* I chose Nederlands (Belgie). I always use US English on my PC's, but I
wanted to have a look at the translations
default keyboard that is highlighted is Dutch, this should be be-latin1
if you choose Belgium as your country
I have a uk keyboard on my laptop, so I chose that option

* network card: modules are in reverse alphabetical order. Is this
normal?
I chose orinoco_cs, since I have Orinoco PCMCIA card.
I then get a red screen: card was not found
Maybe PCMCIA is not working yet ? But after continuing network light
went
on and dhcp server was found
Question: It found my access point by itself (it's the only one around).
What would happen if I needed to enter SSID/WEPkeys?

* Bugs in the partconf nl translation
"paritities" should be "partities"
"Create ext2 file system", "Create ext3 file system", "Create reiserfs
file system" messages not translated

* After rebooting network was not activated!

* Configuring console-data screen is untranslated
I briefly saw an error flash by:
KDGKBENT error: Failed to dump keymap
I then expected to choose i386/qwerty/uk keymap, but it gave the error
several times and then tried to install mac-uk keyboard for some reason.
A bit later I was asked if I wanted the USB version of this mac
keyboard.
I tried to fix this manually with install-keymap on the console but it
fails with the same error.
Why didn't it remember I have a uk keyboard?

* Time zone configuration screen uses 'systeemklok' and 'hardware klok'
when referring to the same thing. It should only use one term.
linux is spelled with a small l

I always get Yes/No Ok/Cancel options. I expected these to be translated
as well.

I choose 'Europa' and get Australian cities!
Had to select 'Indische oceaan' to get European cities

* password for root dialog screen not translated
type password again is translated
"dag-dagelijks" should be "dagdagelijks"
user account screen is untranslated
several dialog titles are untranslated

* it says "volgende stap installatiestap" somewhere. the "stap" in the
middle should be removed.

* why isn't the mirror I selected earlier remembered?
somewhere one of the occurences of "mirror" is not translated in
"spiegelserver"

network failure: apt couldn't contact server (network still isn't
active), so I had to switch to console and do /etc/init.d/pcmcia restart
to fix this.

* exim4-config
several typos:
"emaill" -> "e-mail"
"afgelevert" -> "afgeleverd"
"Allle" -> "Alle"
"e-mail" en "E-mail" are both used -> pick one and stick to it
exim4-config asks a lot of questions... If I choose local delivery, why
does it want a list of IP addresses to listen on?

Install finished!

* kernel still gives me problems with networking and keymap. I had
unstable running on this machine before the install, so I try to install
the self-compiled kernel package I was using then. When installing this,
the lilo installation part fails because it can't find /initrd.img. It
was already renamed to initrd.old on the disk, but lilo.conf still
refered to initrd.img.
I also have a warning about /proc/partitions using ide/host0/... and
lilo.conf having /dev/hda
I manually fixed lilo.conf and rebooted

The old kernel still doesn't solve keymap and network problems...
My keyboard is set to us instead of uk, and I have to run either
/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart or /etc/init.d/networking restart to get it
to work.

I can provide dmesg output or the debian-installer logs if needed.

Greetings,

Bastiaan

This is the bug gategorization : reassigning detailed bugs to
individual d-i modules.

The only two "not surely fixed" bugs reported are the two bugs above.

Other problems reported in this bug report are already fixed problems
(dutch translation, keymap problems and so on)

Many thanks for you installation report and your support to Debian
Installer.
