thanks

Well, it would help if you would take the trouble of reading a little bit
about our bug tracking system and send your followups there.
It would also help if you did not include the original message every time
as both our BTS and mailing lists keep history or use threading
respectively.
Please only include parts from previous mails if you specificly reply to
them and they provide useful context.

I have reassigned your installation report to package libparted.

I don't know if anyone is listening or if I'm annoying people with bugs
they're alread aware of but it appears that this bug has already been
reported. I just found it as bug #242114. But the difference is that
that bug was reported in beta 3, I was using RC2. I also notice that
when I use a newer version of parted (1.6.9) in knoppix it still
complains about the disk size but it does print out the partitions
correctly. When I tried to go to a console using the debian installer
and run parted it wouldn't show the partition table at all, it just
complained about the overlapping partitions. I noticed that the bug
listed above was also installing on an 80 GB hard drive with similar
parameters as mine, maybe it's a Western Digital hard drive problem. My
model is Western Digital Caviar 800BB.
