Hi, i found some time to play with the Powerstack again. I found out what causes the machine to hang: I tried ifconfigurizing the card after i loaded the tulip-driver on another console, just before the automatic hardware detection. Modprobe works and the card is reported as "Digital DS21140 Tulip rev 34", but an "ifconfig eth0 192.168.5.200" causes everything to hang and freeze. Is there a way to exclude particular devices from hw-detect? thanks, simon
