Hmm. That not really true.
The next steps should be loading additional modules for the installation
system from the DVD, network hardware detection and network configuration
(using DHCP is available).
Only after that you will get to the partitioning step.
Also, you did not specify what version of the installer you were using.
Please give us the full URL of the location from where you downloaded the
DVD or give us the date the DVD was built from the F2 help screen before
you boot the installation system.
