Comments/Problems:

A 386 kernel was installed, but the system is a Pentium 4,
so a 686 kernel is expected ....

The 386 kernel only addresses 1 gigabyte of RAM,
the 686 supports the 2 Gb installed in the machine.
(this install report is about a two gigabyte computer)

If CPU dections is done on other information, then let me known.

The 686 kernel has some other "quirks" on this hardware,
but that will be in another bugreport.
