Bug#285077: debian-installer: RC2: cdrom not recognized, RC1: ethernet tg3 and hard drives not recognized

Yes that's with linux26 (2.6.8.1).

Doing additionnal tests I discovered that it was working after changing
the SATA option in the BIOS.
I changed it from SATA/AHCI to SATA. (SATA/AHCI is the option activated
by default, and with that option the RC1 version was at least detecting
my CD drive).
Now the CD drive, the HDDs and the ethernet controller are working fine.
I finished the first step of the install using Software RAID without any
issue.
After I faced another issue which was already reported there:

And now my system is up and ready for more testing.
