Comments/Problems:

The initial boot process went fine.
At the CDRom detection it failed.
My CD drive is a : TEAC DVD+RW DV-W58E
This device was recognized properly by the RC1 version on the Debian
installer, but it isn't anymore with the RC2.

I encountered other issues when I tried the RC1 version on the same
computer. The SATA hard drives were not recognized so I wasn't able to
create any partition.
Also the Network controller (Broadcom Gigabit) wasn't recognized
properly.
(I installed a similar computer using a different network card then I
was able to build a 2.6.8.1 kernel with a working tg3 module, thanks to
the explaination found at [2]).

Bests,
Vivien
