Hi I tried (as a workaround) to install woody first on the dell 2850 (with a megaraid2 controller) and doing dist-upgrade after that to sarge. woody installs without any problems. but after the dist-upgrade and a reboot the system crashes after showing LI (from LILO I suppose) on the screen. there really must be some things wrong in sarge with megaraid2... be free to contact me for additional information. best regards mike müller
