Don't take my comments the wrong way... I think preseeding is great, and
is IMO an extremely important feature.  That's why I've been trying to
test it extensively and file bugs.  :)

The comments in the example preseed file read to me as if static
addressing was tested & working... if not, that's ok;  it's been tested
now.  I'll be happy to do whatever I can to help solve the problem, though
my understanding of the netcfg code is not the greatest.
