Comments/Problems:
I used the partition tool to have /home mounted on /hda1
The installer seemed like it accepted it.
Notice how I declared everything `Primary'...
The first problem manifested itself on reboot. It would not.
I think it was because grub got installed on /hda0 instead of /sda0
I started the whole installation again. (Did not know how to boot /sda2 directly)
This time, after grub, I installed lilo on /sda2 and Linux booted fine
The base-config misconfigured my HP91 high resolution monitor: No 19"/18"-viewable
available and no High Resolution configured.
I don't know if it is a bug but running base-config afterwards at multiuser
level or
console single user level did not allow me the opportunity to reconfigure X.
Also, in the end, /home was on /sda2 instead of /hda1 like I had used partman
to set this up.
I have all the logs on /var/log and if you want I can email the ones you want for
debugging.
Note: I had a similar report in September but I was not trying to do multipartition.
I am redoing an install now because I messed up the kernel in September, trying to
rebuild it from source because of a VPN client compatibility problem.
