The message is a warning that problems _may_ occur if you use Software 
RAID with /boot on the RAID (or / on RAID if you have no separate /boot 
partition).
As you used a separate, normal /boot partition and you probably installed 
your bootloader on that partition, you did not see the problems.

The warning is still correct.
