Bug#279127: Misc corrections for section C4 (Install debootstrap)
Package: debian-installer-manual
Version: 20041014
Severity: minor
Hi,
Some notes of glitches in section C4 (Install debootstrap) of the
installer manual:
C.4.4.1. Mount Partitions:
example /etc/fstab should use "1" in the pass field for root
C.4.4.2. Configure Keyboard:
# dpkg-reconfigure console-data
=> a note should say the keyboard can't be set from the chroot, but
will be on next reboot
C.4.4.3. Configure Networking:
/etc/resolv.conf is borken in the chroot if you use the "resolvconf"
package right now. I know the di manual insn't a placeholder for
debootstrap's bugs (this is #161987 :) but I think this one should be
mentionned.
