Comments/Problems:

Install was pretty flawless, including detection of MacOS X. It was a small
wart for the installer to prompt me for an IP address in this disconnected
install (it appeared to correctly skip DHCP, presumably using the link state).

It is vagely surprising that despite selecting a 2.6 based install I've ended
up with a 2.4 kernel installed. This is hardly the end of the world, though.

Since this is a CD-only install without network access I have not configured X.

It would have been nice for the installer to allow me to configure network
sources, even while unable to access the network.
