Comments/Problems:

Most went fine, but:

In fdisk hda1 has type 83 (should be 82 swap), the swap was however used correctly, changing the type manualy was no problem.

When installing Squid, the hostname was unknown to the startup script, it could be a problem with the squid package, but anyway:
Starting proxy server: Creating squid spool directory structure
FATAL: Could not determine fully qualified hostname.  Please set 'visible_hostname'

lspci:
pcilib: Cannot open /sys/bus/pci/devices
After installing the 2.6.3-1-k7 kernel the error was gone.
