Bug#277316: Acknowledgement (Debian Installation Report Template)

Tried once more:

Added a network card (3C905CX-TX-M) to the Pundit-R and innstalled
from scratch again. When I got to the network part I got a list of
network interfaces to choose from and the list looked like this:

eth0: 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado]
eth1: 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado]
eth2: FireWire ethernet

I thought that was a bit strange, since lspci reports "3Com
Corporation 3Com 3C920B-EMB-WNM Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller"
for the internal card, but the list above may have been reported by
some other part? It turned out that the internal card was on eth0.
When using eth1 I got through the rest of the installation and got the
system up and running. If this looks strange to somone else, please
tell me what I need to send!

I had to reconfigure X to get more than the 800x600 resolution the
Advanced-option gave me, and I had to select keyboard type twice, once
during the early installation, and once during X configuration. And
who knows both vertical and horizontal sync speeds for their monitor?
But these last comments/questions should probably go to the X
configuration script squad?

BTW, KDE looks quite funky!
