Comments/Problems:
I am using Debian since more than 6 years, installed it on a few dozen
machines and this was definitely the smoothest installation ever,
particularly considering that notebooks are usually more tricky. Thanks
for
the great work!
Only thing I disliked is that the standard desktop installation did not
ask
whether I want KDE or Gnome but installed both. Most people use only
one of
them so may be providing Desktop/Gnome only etc. options would be great.
Install logs and other status info is available in
/var/log/debian-installer/.

You have the option of selecting a task and then manual selection will
let you modify what is installed from that task. We're not going to make
users choose between desktop environments at the task level though.
