lvm on raid

So yesterday I tried d-i snapshot 20041005. I won't file an
installation report because it was all smooth as silk, except for
one problem... which may be related to my misunderstanding of the
matter.

I set up six RAID 1 partitions and wanted to have LVM for /srv and
/home to on top. However, d-i does not let me choose "LVM volume" as
"filesystem type" for a RAID volume. From what I can tell, this is
an error. Or not?

When combining LVM and RAID, you have LVM groups include RAID
volumes, not RAID volumes use LVM volumes, right?
