uname -a: cant with the debian , with the gentoo :Linux Narsil
 2.6.3-gentoo-r1 #12 SMP Mon Mar 15 16:30:42 UTC 2004 i686 Intel(R)
 Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Date: 20-03-04 installation time like 10 minutes (nice)
Method: installed from the iso named "sarge-i386-netinst.iso"

Machine: custom machine p4 2.4 motherboard asus p4c800 ,etc... nothing
interesting for the objective of my report

Processor:p4 2.4 800 HT

Memory: 512

Root Device: IDE > /dev/hda2

Root Size/partition table:
/dev/hda1 > gentoo root
/dev/hda2 > debian partition to test
/dev/hda3 > grub partition (/boot of the gentoo system)
/dev/hda5 > swap (512mb)
and a windows partition on a sata disk

Comments/Problems:well the problems comes because i already have a grub
installation on the hd , and when i select to install the grub of the live cd
the installer simply blocks , also i would like to know the grub parameter to
try to boot the debian from the gentoo installed grub(who is in a 100mbs
partition /dev/hda2)
