Bug#276764: Using nano instead of VI in the modify souce pakages list manually entry

When I launch 'base-config', it tell me to choose between
different kinds of souces for packages. Since it's already ok
and there's no 'continue with no changes' entry, I try 'modify
packages sources manually' (or something like that, I'm
localized in french), thinking to exit immediately the editor
to reach the next part of the configuration.
But the editor is VI! I don't have any use of it, I don't
understand anything of it and I don't understand anything of
its man page. So, I don't understand how to quit it.
Finally, and because of a problem on the mutiple console
configuration of the ppc version of my debian, I can't reboot
it properly, so I'm forced to hard-reset the computer.
I think using a more user-friendly editor like nano should be
a good thing to help beginners and simple users like me to
configure the system without non-necessary read of big
documentations just to learn how to type one or two lines of
simple text and exit the editor.
