Comments/Problems:

Installation of base system from a 128 MB USB 1.1 key chain was amazingly fast
(~12 mins) and without any worries, despite the quite unusual hardware. Since
this was not my first install of Debian (I started with a late potato) I had no
problems with the new installer. I just don't like the partitioner very much.
The numerous menu levels are irritating and I was not sure that it wouldn't
touch my preformatted partitions with my restored backup (no system files, only
data). With cfdisk I would've felt "safer". But I got everything done really
fast and there were no bad surprises. At the end I skipped apitude which
appeared 'without a warning' IIRC. I always use apt-get anyway.

I did not check whether sound or graphics for X are working, but at least the
modules for the VIA sound chipset are loaded properly. Thanks for the good work!
