Bug#252986: Recent builds still fail to detect IDE modules

I'm sorry to inform you that the problem still persists. I've just tried 
 the pre-rc2 and daily (2004-10-13) netinst builds.

Again, using expert26 it fails to detect ide-mod, ide-probe-mod, 
ide-detect and ide-floppy. However, the installer didn't complain about 
ide-scsi this time, even though it wasn't detected.

I'll be glad to try again with future builds, but as this is a 
production workstation now, I can't take the installation beyond the 
"Detect hard drives " point.
