Method: Booted from sarge-i386-netinst CD downloaded from debian.org.
Installed as "expert".

Machine: Homebuilt PC
Processor: 1GB AMD Athlon
Memory:   384MB
Root Device: Pair of IDE HDDs, set as RAID1. / is /dev/md2
Root Size/partition table:

Comments/Problems:

Finally managed to get the system booting off of a software RAID
mirror... Easy, and painless, although I used grub rather than lilo
which I would have preferred.
