Comments/Problems:

I had a problem during the install when I selected the option to manually partition my hard drive.
I did not want to use the entire disk just for Debian and had set aside hda7 for this purpose.

At the screen following my choice to manually partition I was shown several options having to do with configuring arrays and so forth, BUT in the place where all the mount points and partitions were supposed to be listed, all that was presented for review by the net installer was a single text line showing my entire HD as a SINGLE partition. It would allow me to select the whole HD as an option to install the system on, but only if I created a totally new partition (at which point I was warned by the installer that all other partitions would be erased if I choose this option).

So I backed out of the installer, attempted it once more and got the same result.
