Debian-installer-version: Debian-Installer RC1, fetched on August 29, 2004 
from ftp.de.debian.org

Method: Booted from netinst CD image of the installer. Base system installed 
from CD. The rest of packages were installed using apt-get/dselect from 
ftp.de.debian.org. No proxy connection.

Comments/Problems:

Initially I had had the idea to use the very small partition /dev/hda1 as a 
root
(and /dev/hda7 as /tmp), but it turned out to be too small! Thus it was 
decided
to use hda7 as root to avoid repartitionning (will do it later).
By the way, the idea was proper for installation of woody.
After using hda7 as a root, installation process went very smoothly. 

What is my feeling, debian should also offer nice, graphical environment of
installer. Not that this one is bad (personally I like it), but text ui may be
slightly archaic for some users.

Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/.
