Additional info: I've tried using an Adaptec AHA2940UW instead of the ISP one, but then I bumped into another bug (see bug id 271606) I also noticed that the kernel/driver detects a Qlogic ISP1020, but that the chip on the card is marked ISP 1040. I presume they use the same driver.
