Bug#270674: Further details
Testing the Sarge Boot CD as of building it on 20040923.
Install fails to complete as /media/cdrom0 dir is deleted at each reboot.
On a Gigabyte GA7IXE4 motherboard the discover binary is unable to find the
cdrom device. It finds hardly anything in my opinion: agpgart e100 cs46xx
usb-ochi
I tried forcing the hand of the scripting, making it as if a CDROM were found,
then the script rechecks its work with a request for "--device cdrom" and again
nothing found.
Annoying!
And why exactly are there two "discover" packages at Debian? And the one on the
CD being "discover1" which I am guessing is older technology that discover.
