External Installation Kernel Panic
I have just installed debian onto my external hd (usb)
and i am having a problem booting up. I installed deb
onto my external, did stage 2 installer before the
reboot (meaning i got all of the sources, got
everything setup and then rebooted). First of all,
grub had the wrong setting for my external so i
corrected that. But just as soon as my usb modules
loaded... i received a Kernel Panic! It said that
/dev/console didnt exist... is there a way I can
edit something or mayb recompile the kernel to have
properly built in usb modules (aka do it from knoppix
mayb)? If any1 has had this problem b4 or knows what
I could do to even get started, please get back at me.
Thanks
Paul
