Auto detection of harddisk fails for my sony PC.  This has firewire
CDROM.  My lspci;lspci -n are below.

Work around used for install:
1. Boot with expert
2. Go to console run following before detect and mount CDROM:

 modprobe ohci1394
 modprobe sbp2 
 modprobe sr_mod

Before you detect and mount CDROM, you may also want to change debconf
prioriy to medium or so.
