Yes, I was aware of this while uploading 1.30. However, I didn't want
to revert Kostas patch as it seems better progress to leave this and
then do what you did : record that this doesn't work..:-)

Well, this would mean having it in the initrd, as we don't have access
to any archive either CD or network at this stage.
As l-c implies other packages it depends upon, I'm not sure this is
possible.
One solution could be changing the order of prebaseconfig
scripts....but it's likely to break other stuff.
Ifsomeone has a better idea, it's welcomed.
