This is not correct. The language variable was always ment to handle
several language codes in priority order. I know, because I added the
code to handle this, after failing to get it into boot-floppies in
time.
Sounds to me like dictionary-common used incorrect assumtions, and now
discovered that the assumsions are incorrect. :/
It important for several languages to be able to specify fallback
languages.
I hope you can get the fix into sarge in time. Too bad no-one
discovered this problem earlier.
