[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Comments/Problems:

Three problems:
    1. Many of the IA64 Debian mirrors are incomplete, so I have to
use more than one (in this case by using apt-proxy). There's no
indication that one is allowed to specify a port when specifying a mirror.
I used lemon.gelato.unsw.edu.au:9999 which is an apt-proxy
installation mirroring from mirror.aarnet.edu.au then
ftp.au.debian.org

    2. If you select a 2.6 kernel you need to have module-init-tools
installed, which doesn;t happen by default. Otherwise the
installation of the kernel fails when depmod is run.

    3. (The biggy). The default partitioning doesn't leave a FAT16
partition at the start of the disc for elilo to install a boot image
on.

You are lost in a maze of BitKeeper repositories, all slightly different.
