Dell Latitude LM PCMCIA problem
Hello-
I am trying to install Debian Woody on a Dell Latitude LM. I want to do
a network install as I have no bootable CD drive. I have a Cirrus Logic
CL-PD6730 PCMCIA controller, with a 3com 3CCFE574BT 10/100 ethernet
card. I use the i82365 controller, but when I try to configure the
PCMCIA, I get "An error encountered while trying to load and configure
the PCMCIA modules." I've also tried it with the wakeup=1 and fast_pci
options, but these don't work either.
I've tried both the vanilla and the bf2.4 kernels.
Also, the ethernet connector cable that I plug into the ethernet card
has two green indicator lights, but they do not come on.
I've been running Mandrake on my desktop for 10 months, but am not a
linux expert. Thanks for any help.
