Comments/Problems:

At completion of the installation, I had an error stating that not all=20
packages had installed. On closer examination, I found that I had the error=
=20
message that my kernel is configured with devfs, but devfs is not mounted=20
anywhere. As this is the kernel being retrieved from the server, there is a=
n=20
inconsistency. Either the retrieved kernel should *NOT* be configured with=
=20
devfs or the installation process should create a correct mount for devfs.

I'm currently processing old installation reports, and since you
had some comments about the debian installer back in April, I thought I
wanted to state that - as you may already know - so much has changed
and improved since April. Therefore I will close this report, since you
overall had a successful installation.

However, it would be great and very much appreciated, if you could find
time to download and test the latest[1] cd image and comment on any new
problems with the installer you might come across.
