I totally agree. It is simply unnecessary to run these network services 
by default. Very few need them. I have been wanting to file a report 
about it myself for some time, but hadn't gotten around to do it. Now I 
have cloned off your report to inform the inetd maintainers. They 
should *really* fix this before sarge freezes!
