Bug#261325: network-console-config: Calling base-config-network-console doesn't display the network config dialog
Package: network-console-config
Version: 0.0.3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
I have a problem with the /etc/init.d/networking script that fail to start after I had tried to change the ip address several times to configure the connection to internet setting eth0 with my new public ip.
After then the only way I can use to bring up my network is to use the ip command via a script named "mynetworking" that I put in /etc/init.d/ (i.e. 'ip link set eth0 up' and so ...).
So when I see the network-console-config script I hope I can reconfigure
from ground my network and put-away my network script but it seems does
not to work.
Thank you in advance.
