This can be reproduced by:
Choice "Erase entire disk", "Automatically partition the free space", then
do "Separate partition for home directories" or "Multi-user system".

My test result:
1. "All files in one partition (recommended for new users)" works.
2. When I removed swap partition, it works.

I can send /var/log/partman, but it looks too long...

I think current partman works only:
1. 1 partition, 1 swap
2. multiple partitions, no swap
