Comments/Problems:

I installed using an image located at:
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/i386/current/sarge-i386-
netinst.iso
The date of this image is: 7-22-2004

The CD booted fine. I ran the following at the boot prompt:

Press F1 for help, or ENTER to boot: linux26

The very first menu asking to "[!!] Choose language" displayed very funny.
Instead of a gray box with all the choices in it, it gave a grey box with
the right edge missing some of the grey... :) It's hard to explain...
something like this:

[!!] Choose language |
                                                                    |

)))))))))))))))))BIG BLACK LINE HERE)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Some of the letters that are typed above, i.e. under the heading "French", I
have typed "Frantais", but there is no "t" displaying, it is an "i" with a
"~" above it. Please excuse my ignorance of the correct naming of the
letter. Where you see a blank, it displays nothing, where in the last image
I tested "7-20-2004" it displayed the actual writing in the actual language
that was representative of it's English equivalent.

As I continued through the menus, it displayed similar "right edge"
problems.

The other problem I had was that GRUB would not install properly to my RAID
array. As mentioned above, I have a Adaptec 2120S RAID Controller hooked up
to 3x Seagate 73.4 GB U320SCSI 68PIN 10K SEA-ST373307LW drives. The drives
are configured into a single RAID5 Volume and detected by the installer as
such. However, grub fails to load with a "Fatal Error"

In the third terminal it is showing the same error I had on earlier di
snapshots, "The file /boot/grub/stage1 not read correctly." I already have
a bug report on this issue: #259297,
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=259297

I just wanted to submit a bug on the "graphical" menu driven installer
display errors.

Michael
