Comments/Problems:
I burned the sparc/beta3/sarge-sparc-businesscard.iso
and booted from it, but after booting the kernel it hangs with a
kernelpanic and the message
VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 00:00
Press L1-A to return to the boot prom.
After trying again with the argument linux root=/dev/sda1 it proceeds to
boot into my existing Woody install, but not into the Debian installer.

I'm currently processing old installation reports, and have come across
yours. Many thanks for all your feedback. It is much appreciated.
So much has changed with the installer since March, and I have strong
reason to believe that your particular problem on the sparc platform has=20
been resolved, so I will close this report now (please reopen if you=20
disagree).
However, it would be great and very much appreciated, if you could find
time to download and test the latest[1] cd image and comment on any new
problems with the installer you might come across.
